(लिंग और लिंग के प्रकार)

Gender (लिंग)
ऐसे शब्द जो किसी noun के स्त्री , पुरुष या नपुंशक होने का व्यक्त करते है Gender कहलाते हैं

जैसे:-
 friend,          teacher,          table,          girl,          man
 Kinds Of Gender (लिंग के प्रकार)
 Gender निम्नलिखित 4 प्रकार का होता है l
 1- Masculine Gender (पुल्लिंग)
 2- Feminine Gender (स्त्रीलिंग)
 3- Common Gender (उभयलिंग)
 4- Nuter Gender (नपुंसकलिंग)

 1- Masculine Gender (पुल्लिंग)
  ऐसे nouns जो नर जाति का बोध करते हैं Masculine Gender कहलाते हैं l
 जैसे:-
 man, dog, cock, lion, king, father, ox etc.

 2- Feminine Gender (स्त्रीलिंग)
 मादा जाति का बोध कराने वाले nouns को ही Feminine Gender कहते हैं l
 जैसे:-
  Queen, lioness, hen, mother, cow, bitch, woman, etc.

 3- Common Noun (उभयलिंग)
 ऐसे nouns जो नर और मादा दोनों जातियों का बोध कराते हैं Common Gender कहलाते हैं

जैसे:-
teacher, doctor, lawyer, friend, student, servant etc.

4- Nuture Gender (नपुंसकलिंग)
जो nouns किसी निर्जीव वस्तुओ या ऐसे nouns का बोध कराते है जो बच्चा पैदा करने की क्षमता नहीं रखते, Nuture Gender कहलाते है l
जैसे:-
Fan, book, stone, snow, chair etc.

 5- Masculine Gender से Feminine Gender बनाना
 Masculine Gender से Feminine Gender बनाने के प्रमुख नियम निम्नलिखित हैं l
 1- By Change of Words (शब्दों में परिवर्तन करके)
 2- By adding ‘ess’, ‘ss’, or ‘s’ at the end of the words (शब्द के अंत में ‘ess’, ‘ss’, या ‘s’ जोड़कर)
3- By changing the beginning or ending words (आदि या अंत के शब्दों को बदल कर)
1- By Change of Words (शब्दों में परिवर्तन करके)
इसके अंतर्गत दिए शब्द के स्थान पर नए शब्द लिखे जाते हैं l

2- By adding ‘ess’, ‘ss’, or ‘s’ at the end of the words (शब्द के अंत में ‘ess’, ‘ss’, या ‘s’ जोड़कर)
जैसे:-
